Jean has worked in Silicon Valley as a software architect since 1996. He co-founded Activeweave in 2005 and sold it to Buzzlogic in April 2008. Jean holds a Masters Degree in Computer Science from Telecom Paris and previously held engineering leadership roles at Oracle and Symbol Technologies (acquired by Motorola in 2007).

Jean is originally from Nice in France. When he’s not building web-scale products he can be found kiteboarding or snowboarding.
