What we see.

We started Untangly to solve a problem we’ve experienced ourselves: authoring and maintaining one-off scripts that read from and write to websites managed by other people.

Organizations don’t operate in a data vacuum anymore. More and more companies need to reliably access and interact with other websites to stay competitive.

Despite many, many, many attempts to standardize information delivery across the internet and within the enterprise, the web remains a messy, unstructured place

Today when an organization needs to reliably read from or write to someone else’s website they have to ask the other company to expose their information in a structured way, and a software engineer has to build a custom integration. Even worse, every time the other website makes a change, this integration breaks.

What we do.

Our goal is to provide software engineers with the tools and infrastructure to untangle the web. We are using the structure of the web itself to make any website behave like it’s an API.

We believe that once this functionality is available it will spawn new applications and businesses that we can’t even imagine.
